• Use ITA Software Matrix Airfare Search and use the following search criteria:
  • Origin: DEN
    • For Houston availability, replace DEN with IAH on the Origin field
  • Origin Advanced Routing Code:
    • Routing Codes: aa aa
    • Extension Codes: maxconnect 240
      • This is instructing ITA to search for the Basic Economy fare. Use those dates on American and you will be presented with an option to upgrade to a regular economy fare.
  • Destination:  SJU
  • Return Advanced Routing Code:
    • Routing Codes: aa aa
    • Extension Codes: maxconnect 240
  • (Click on Advanced Codes link to enable advanced routing code input)
  • Select “See calendar of lowest fares”
  • Duration “3-10” (This is just a sample, you can use any 7 day date range like 3-10, 7-14 etc)

How to Search for Availability:

• Use ITA Software Matrix Airfare Search and use the following search criteria:
  • Departing from: IAH
    • For Denver availability, replace IAH with DEN
  • Outbound Advanced Routing Code:
    • Textbox 1: aa aa
    • Textbox 2: maxconnect 300
  • Destination: HNL
    • For Maui availability, replace HNL with OGG
    • These works both ways, so HNL can be the Departure City and DEN or IAH can be the Destination
  • Return Advanced Routing Code: 
    • Textbox 1: aa aa
    • Textbox 2: maxconnect 300
  • Click on the “Advanced Routing Codes” link to enable advanced routing code input
  • Select “See calendar of lowest fares”
  • Enter departure date
  • Length of stay: 3-10
    • The maximum search range is 7 days, so enter ranges in this format: 0-7, 3-10, 5-12, etc.
